Ecumenical Liturgy for Christian Unity

At the Holy Cross, on Tuesday 22 January 2013, in the context of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, a beautiful Ecumenical Liturgy was held.

The Greek Orthodox Church, the Anglican Church, the Coptic Church, as well at the Catholic Church, both Latin and Maronite, were actively involved in the liturgy.

During it every Christian denomination took part in different ways and prayed together, asking for conversion and openness, and listened to the Word of God and the preaching, sung psalms and celebrated the call of God for us through Jesus Christ to live the faith we are called to as Christians authentically and give the sign of unity in today’s world through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Drinks and snacks were offered afterwards to everyone.

Pictures from the Liturgy follow.
