Dear Family of the Holy Cross Parish,
A Happy, Blessed and Prosperous New Year to all of you! With the solemn proclamation of the Te Deum hymn, we closed another year, and in the book of our life another chapter. What is written there is already written and cannot be changed. We give thanks to God for everything He gave us.
Today we are at the beginning of the New Year. What this year will give us only God knows. Obviously we have our plans, visions and projects for the future of our life, in which we place all our hopes. May the Lord, the Prince of Peace renew His peace among the nations, especially in Syria and in the Middle East.
May His love strengthen and unite all divided members of His body, the Church. May God’s blessing be upon us. In this New Year “May the Lord bless you and keep you, May the Lord let his face shine on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord uncover his face to you and bring you peace”.
Have a peaceful and blessed 2014.
