Catholics believe the Eucharist in which we have Holy Communion, with the Body and Blood of Christ, is an expression of immense joy for the mercy and power of Jesus Risen from the dead, coming to take us from slavery to freedom, out of death to the fullness of life with Him. We believe in the real presence of Jesus, who died for our sins, coming to save us today. As we receive Christ’s Body and Blood, we also are nourished spiritually and brought closer to God.
For First Communion you are invited to contact the Parish priest, at least six months before the celebration.
